The Gold Coast Airport and Gold Coast region operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST). Daylight saving is observed in New South Wales where Byron Bay is situated, from the first weekend in October to the first weekend in April. There is a one hour time change when crossing the state line.
This means for the one hour trip the clock times will show zero time travelling north and two hour travelling south. So please check your flight times during these months, remembering that Queensland time will be one hour before New South Wales time.
Our online booking system will help by showing the correct local time at each location.
Enquiries about our services or bookings may be made at the Surfside & Gold Coast Shuttle information desks either at the international arrivals area or near the car rental desks in the centre of the terminal.
